I think that Raiden is the best because of his quickness in the nan-(something) and power in jujistu and staff.

Whats his costume got to do with anything. Costumes dont determine how good a character is...
Anyways, for me its Scorp. Hes got good specials and is easy to master. Hes a well balanced character...

Game wise i choose Raiden cause i always kicked Moloch's cheap monkey ass with him all the time, storyline wise i choose Sub-Zero all the way, since he is my second favorite character next to Liu Kang.

i vote kung lao, he was real good in da, raiden is still good, but he has not improved, in mk4 he was amazing, he madegoro easy, in mkda, he is not as good.

Tough Question.I'd probably go with Kung Lao since his moves were the most stylish.If i wanted to win i'd pick Raiden,Scorpion was pretty stylish too.Sub Zero was too slow for me.

Scorpion
Raiden
Kung Lao
Subs just the best all around character because he has a kickas$ blade, good specials, good speed, and good power...when used by the right player hes unbeatable

In the actual gameplay I was best with Kung Lao and Scorpion. Raiden was just different and Subzero is kinda slow.

Gamewise i vote Sub-Zero because he is one kool kharacther. My favourite is Kano but he lacked a Style Branch combo that involved all three styles.

Probaly:
1st-Scorpion/ he has excellent specials
2nd-Sub-Zero/ as excellent specials but two slow
3rd-Kung lao/ the broadsword was good
4th-raiden/ he was pretty crap
