The 2 are not the same!
I know that Dragon King will be the final boss in MKD, and he was Reptile. He will be greater than Shao Kahn, he will be the greatest boss in MK ever.
I think they are very different.

i guess there is a slight possibility but i just think it is a completely retarded idea, I just wish the people who truely think so, would post it once and only once,and at least post it in a thread that has something to do with the DK looking like Shao Kahn, thats all i want from Christmas, is it to much to ask for????

Yes, there differences, but can cleary see that DK is inspired by Shao Kahn. But does it really mather ?
