Post subject: Mortal Kombat movie - promo release tape and making of tape |

This promo is an Australian exclusive, before a video is released to be rented out to people in a video store, the store is given a promo tape of the movie so they can run it on a TV in the store, or use it to watch and then tell people about the movie before it hits stores. This box was sent out to promote Mortal Kombat and contained the full movie Mortal Kombat (because its a pre release it has a counter in the corner for the whole movie lenth, also note the words "Trade Only Preview Cassette Strictly Not For Rental Or Sale") and a Mortal Kombat - A Journey Behind The Scenes tape, which was a free rental in stores.

My sister use to work at a video shop so we have a shitload of screeners at my house. Their annoying. Besides the fact that that legal info scrolls across the screen repeatedly they also go black&white on you occasionally. Im not too interested in this one...

This aussie screener doesnt do that, it has no "property of village roadshow" text or goes black and white, it just has a timer in the corner.
