I would definatly say this is the most saught after MK item, It's the versions of Mortal Kombat and Mortal Kombat II for PC on 1 CD-Rom.
The thing that makes these games so saught after, is that they upgraded the audio and music for Mortal Kombat and they fixed up Mortal Kombat II so it ran better under windows and fixed the time to type the "aiculedssul" cheat. It rarely apears on ebay, and usally featch's a hefty price when it does!
On the left: The Australian version of this CD with the manual and technical suppliment.
One the right: The US version and manual.
As you can see they both have little differances....unfortauntly I don't have the box for this ultra rare MK game.

I saw the Goro statue on all the time, I never got it myself cause shipping would of been murder to Australia. But you are probly right about MKII on PSX I would say It's pretty close to this item, but I still think this is the most saught after item.

Besides Arcade, this was the best version of MK1 / MK2. That's why people wanted it so bad...but now that Midway Arcade Treasures 2 is comming out, It will probly be forgoten fast.

uuuummm... of course ive heard of MK2 on the playstion, but what are the major differences between it and the SNES and SEGA transfers, other than the inevitabley good equally to the arcade MK2's graphics _________________ quote from M*A*S*H: "what are you trying to do to me?" Mortal Kombat 2 on playstation is an exact replica of the arcade. Graphics, sound, everything is perfect. Mortal Kombat 2 on psx is the arcade. Obvioulsy you cannot compare it to the SNES and GENESIS. Not only was it only available in Japan, there was a limited run on it. I just saw a new sealed copy sell for more than $150.00 on ebay. Unfortunately the closest arcade version excuse [ and I do mean excuse ]of MK2 available for the U.S. is the one for Sega Saturn, this game is a disgrace, only one thing making it good was graphics while most of the sound was left out- EVEN THE ANNOUNCER MENTIONING FIGHTERS' NAMES WAS LEFT OUT! and INCORRECT MUSIC was played for certain scenes [ sega also did this on UMK3 for saturn ] why sega did this I have no idea!@%# Generally the sound is terrible and even secrets from the arcade were left out making the SNES version actually all in all a ten times better version. Anyways the demand for the psx MK2 will go down with the release of Midway Arcade Treasures 2 as for the first time in 10 years a genuine arcade version of MK2 will be available in the U.S. for a home video game system.

No, thats not right. Mortal Kombat 2 on Playstation / PSX may have decent graphics but the sounds are FAR from arcade perfect. they use low quality sampled sounds and midi music tracks which sounds really bad. It is far from an exact replica from the Arcade version. MKII on PC is closest to the arcade version.

I'm impressed man. I love your Arcade machine lineup, very cool. I only have 1 cabinet and swap my boards, but my ultimate goal is what you have going there.

thanks, but I'm still looking for a MK4 PCB cause there's no more room for a full cabinet
In my mk3 cab there are also 2 games, mk3 and umk3, I have to switch those to but I'm trying to make some switch so you wount have to move the cab anymore to open the back door and switch the connectors... I hope it will work hehe... _________________ My MK Kollection
