Hi everyone I'm pretty new to this thing. How come there hasn't been any more new mortal kombat films like number three? I've just seen the second one and I found it rather exciting,Shao Kahn was an idiot to trust his father but what choice did he have. LOL. Please Reply?

Well MK:Annihilation was a very bad movie. It had potential but just got to silly and stupid...it made money at the box office st first but after the word was out about how bad it was it dropped quickly. I think there was also legal issues with the 3rd film. They have been planing it for a long time, and apparently, the next movie will not be released via New Line Cinema...and will start shooting very soon! Linden Ashby and Christopher Lambert have both confirmed there return for the 3rd film.

Mortal Kombat annihilation wasn't that crappy even you got to admit that. But I'm still hoping for the third movie to get out.

filming for the 3rd movie is supposed to key word supposed to start this summer but like said above there has been alot of stupid issues and the fact that they couldnt get sum of the acters bck they had to get a hole new lot of ppl
