Since it seems there was never an "official" story of the dragon amulet, this is my version of how SUb-Zero the 6th came to claim it.
The Dragon Amulet-Part 1
The night was cool, and carried the scent of ash in the air. In the distance, black billowing clouds of dust and smoke rose from the mountainside. Another attack had begun.
Villagers ran terrified, screaming into the dark night. The town of Chouz was being invaded. It was basically every man for themselves in this destruction. On this fateful night, a young man stood there, wielding a sword. A ninja clad in blue stepped up to him. The young man slashed downwards, seemingly cutting the ninja into two. The ninja fell in half, onto the dirt, and the young man stumbled back, startled at the sight. He had never killed anyone before, and was feeling sick inside. He turned and bumped into a firm being . He looked up to see the ninja, standing there, without a scratch. The young man dropped his weapon and ran in the opposite direction. A ninja dressed in orange jumped over next to the ninja in blue.
" So are you going to kill him or what?"
The ninja in blue did not respond.
" Then I guess IÂ’ll have to do it for you." He stuck out his hand, and released a ball of fire, which hit the young man, sending him over the edge of the cliff he was running towards.
" You know, IÂ’m beginning to doubt your dedication to the Lin Kuei. IÂ’m going to go see the grandmaster about this."
The orange ninja stormed off in the other direction, walking between dead bodies and all of the chaotic massacre. The blue ninja sped off after the orange ninja, stepping through the puddle where the young man had slashed his sword and dropped it. The blue ninja said "Wait Pyro." The other ninja turned around.
"What is it Sub-Zero?"

Heeeeyy! how did you get quotation marks to appear in your fanfics correctly, everytime i do i get a bunch of numbers and random crap.
btw, its pretty good so far, i can some good battles coming out of this.

I worte this on a microsft works program so I could save it. Then, when I pasted it on, I changed the quotation marks from the Microsoft works version into the Post Reply version. See: """"

Here is part two of my story. Enjoy!
The Dragon Amulet-Part 2
Sub-Zero looked at Pyro and said “ Have you ever wondered if what we're doing is right? I mean, we kill people that are completely innocent for the soul purpose of training. We attacked this village because we heard that they had a secret clan here, which now obviously, we know is not true. We came in here and killed people based on a rumor of what we heard. I don’t thi-.” At that moment, Pyro sent his knee into Sub-Zero’s stomach, knocking the wind out of him. Sub-Zero sank to his knees, clutching his stomach, gasping for breath.
" You truly are pathetic. You couldnÂ’t even block one measly blow." Pyro turned away and darted off into the horizon. As soon as Sub-Zero could not see Pyro anymore, he got up, breathing normally. You see, there was something Pyro, and all the other ninjas of the Lin Kuei, except for one, didnÂ’t know. Sub-Zero had become stronger than he was thought to be. He acted like he was weak, so when the time came to put his plan into action, he could make an easy escape.
Sub had an idea in his head, and idea that started two years ago.
<Flashback>
"So, what do you say Sub, should we burn his ass?"
"Definitely."
"Ahhhhhhhh!!!"
"That was too easy. I could have just o-"
"Quiet! I hear something!" Sub-Zero walked over to the small hut next to the river bed.
"A child! Pyro, come over here! Now!"
"ItÂ’s just a child. You donÂ’t need help with it, do you?"
"What are you talking about? You want me to kill her? Your out of your mind!"
"The grandmaster sent us here to eliminate this family. I think she is included. IÂ’ll do it."
"No, wait!”"Sub-Zero lunged at Pyro, but it was too late. The girl was gone, and Pyro had a smirk on his face.
"What the hell are you doing? Get off of me!" Pyro punched Sub in the face, which caused him to stumble back.
"Why the hell did you knock me over? I mean, what the hell! That was stupid! Actually, you know what, DonÂ’t even say!"
<End of flashback>
Ever since, Sub has had the idea that killing innocent people is wrong. He was going to leave, but he needed to convince someone else first. He wanted her to go with him, but she was reluctant. Sub started the journey "home", when she popped out from behind a smoldering tree.

“ Hello Frost.”
“ Hi Sub! Did you kill anyone this time?”
“ No. Killing the innocent is wrong, I’ve already told you that. I don’t like killing unless it’s necessary.”
“ Your going to have to kill someone, or the grandmaster will not be pleased. Pyro has already left to tell him.”
“ I know. I’ll deal with it when the times comes.” With that Sub-Zero marched off towards the rest of the Lin Kuei. It would be a two day trip back to clan base. Sub started to jog up to the front of the group, for he saw Pyro, leading the rest of the warriors. He was halfway when he was grabbed from behind, and knocked out.
He opened his eyes to see three faces staring back at him.
“Well, since he’s awake, we better get going.” Said a low voice. Sub-Zero sat up and looked around. He was in the middle of a forest, for all he knew. He saw a figure dressed in a tight dark blue suit. He turned be hind him and saw a woman, in a tight green suit. He looked left and saw
“ Frost!”
“ What is it Sub? Are you okay? Hydro told me that he had to knock you out. He said it was strict orders directly from the grandmaster. Were going on an assassination mission, to recover an ancient artifact.”
“ What? I-”
“ Shoo. Quiet. Gaia, come over here” The woman in green walked over
“ What is it Hydro?”
“ See those guards, you know what to do.” Gaia stuck her arms out at waist level, then rose them up above her head. Two pillars of earth rose from the ground, knocking the man onto their backs. Hydro leapt over to them, snapped one of their necks, and blasting the other into the forest with a shot of water.
Everyone got up and ran to the foot of the house. Sub-Zero stood there, stunned. Everything happened so quickly.
“Come on!” Frost yelled from the house. Sub ran over next to her.
“ I don’t like this,” he said.
“ Well get used to it. The grandmaster expects you to kill the owner of the artifact.” Hydro said.
“ Fine.” Sub said this, not really meaning it. Everyone started to climb to the top of the house. They all got up without much difficulty. They ran to the other side of the roof, quietly, as not to alert any more guards. They found out that there was a cliff on the other side, and that it was a sheer 70 foot drop if you fell. They had to get into the room directly under them. To gain access, they had to climb through the window on the wall facing the cliff. Hydro was going to go, so he lowered himself down and started to fiddle with the lock.
Sub-Zero heard someone yelling, and told the group.
“ Someone must have found the dead bodies! They're searching the premises. It’s a matter of minutes before they find us. Hurry up Hydro!”
“ Be quiet. They could hear you. I’m the leader of this mission, and I’m calling the shots.” At that instant, someone kicked Sub-Zero in the back. He stumbled towards the edge, but stopped. He turned around to see the attackers. There were five men dressed in black. Gaia shot a piece of the cliff at one of one of them. He fell down onto the roof, and a pool of blood started to seep out from under his mask.
Frost shot a small ice ball at one of them, but she missed and the man retaliated with a kick to the stomach, then an uppercut, which sent her plunging over the side.
“ Nooooooo!” Sub-Zero screamed at the top of his lungs.\0y feel like this is one of my b

Yeah, he was in only the comics, I think 4, and it would be most excellent if he was in the games. Awsome story Lord Freeze!
