Are you sure thats an mk3 screenshot? They said they dont know if hes in it, so why would they have a pic if they didnt know?

i think the screen shot is form the movie they said he was workin on or is in or watever i dont think its form mk3

They said they were not sure if Robin was playing Liu Kang, nothing about him not being in the movie. However It could be from something else, we will have to wait and see.

It's not the first time I read on the Internet that the next MK film started filming, but still not happened anything, just talks about the cast.

Devastating Mortal Kombat news

Fling the joystick, press the power button off, and pull the dust-cover back over the mega drive, you can soon get your "Mortal Kombat" fix at theatres. Again.
After many a mixed-bag of rumours, Moviehole can confirm that filming on the third film, title "Mortal Kombat : Devastation", will begin in May.
Essentially skipping over the events of the second film, "Devastation" reunites the cast of the original - Christopher Lambert as Rayden, Linden Ashby as Johnny Cage, Robin Shou as Liu Kang, Chris Casamassa as Scorpion with Talisa Soto and Sandra Hess in talks to reprise their roles as Kitana and Sonya Blade, respectively - with the remaining parts being cast as we speak.
The film is being developed by Mink ["Into the Sun"] and Threshold Entertainment. The Asst.Producer is Neil James.
Game On.

Well maybe with this new movie it will be alot better then the other two though I am not saying the two movies sucked 0.o just the storylines did not follow at all with the games as me and my b.f been talking about it. Anyway it be great to see the new mortal kombat o.o and you guys answered my question ehehehe well the title question >.> "Mortal Kombat: Devistation" anyway I am sooo looking forward to seeing it! though I hate waiting and wishing it will be just be done and already have come out -.-

i need a new mk movie like ineed oxygen water and shepherds pie i just pray they don't mess with character storylines and i hope if shao kahn is on there they at least make him look remotely threatening

it sounds like they may actually try this time around, see mortal kombat was a smash hit, but MKA flopped do to poor character and story lines being changed with the games and even from the first movie

I hope they get the chick who played SOnya in the first film cause the girl who played Sonya in MK:A was terrible and ugly she was one of the reasons why it was so horrible.
