They need the original cast back. Using any of them that were in the 2nd film will only make us remember how shitty it was, and dread sitting through this one the whole time. That and the ones from MKA were just BAD actors (except for Talisa Soto and Robin Shou, which were from the 1st film).

Am I one of the only people who believes that the MK movies would have been a whole lot better if there was some more enthusiasm in the funding of those projects? I mean, Mortal Kombat is one of the highest grossing game series and it seems that the two original films did not have a whole lot of money put into them. Well, hopefully Mortal Kombat: Devastation will redeem the first two, with today's special effects.

the problem is that yes MK is one of the highest grossing games of all time, BUT....... We're talking about Hollywood here, directors ALWAYS ALWAYS screw with EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!! thusly ruining everything for everyone.
