Originally I was told it was only Ermac who could get the free game, but I later found out it was every character, on any endurance match or what have you.
Other messed up stuff happens if you win by time over but I foget exactly. I think winning by time over and then beating Kano by time over brings you into a loop of fighting Kano and Nightwolf, eventually you get to Motaro and Shao Kahn on the column and it freezes. Very weird shit.
