Post subject: Mortal Kombat Deception Strategy Guide |

I went to the Barnes & Noble website to see when the strategy guide would come out and was suprised when I saw that they are showing a release date of August 28th????????? Thats like a whole month before the game is set for release. I am assuming this is a typo, but who knows anyways I included a link so you guys and check this out and prove to your selves that I am not making this up. Anyone who knows what the hell is going on please feel free to comment.

You do need a strategy as you start to play you get the hang of it although it may help you unlock characters

I am going to get the strategy guide in hopes that it will help on konquest mode. Because from what I heard konquest is going to be huge and I want to make sure I cover every nook and crany. I am just woundering why the hell they are showing a release date of August 28th?

What a stupid thing to do. Releasing a strategy guide before the game is released. Then you will sneak peek and spoil much fun.
But it would kome in handy when playing Konquest mode I guess.

I am sure this is a typo...you are right it would be stupid for brady games and midway to release the strategy guide that far in advance. I am sure it will be released the day before or the day of the release of MKD. I just thought I would point out that Barnes and Noble is showing a strategy guide release date of August 28.

well its september 7th rite now and i havent seen it released anywhere so i assume it was a typo

Yes it was a typo...I have heard that the official release date for the strategy guide is September 28th, but for some reason all the book stores posted October 28th...dumb A$$es! Oh Well...

Believe it or not strategy guides usualy do come out before the game does. I remember last year the MKDA strategy guide came out three days before the game did. Yeah it seems dumb, but actualy its a pretty smart marketing scheme. By releasing strategy guides early it entices the reader/buyer to purchase the game.
