Post subject: Some ideas for MK3 movie |
 |
| |
here's a couple things i think would be cool for the next movie
Bridgette Wilson as Sonya
Have a Scorpion and Sub Zero showdown, (longer, better fight than in MKA)
have Mileena and Kitana fight (with Kitana winning but Mileena putting up a damn good fight)
some fatalities
and the storyline is a kombination of MK4 and MK:DA
what do you guys think? agree or disagree?

You need to ignore MK4 since that was the basis in MKA, well part of it. The next movie should be done up with MKDA and MKD in mind. That way you get a WIDE array of characters. Go back to the original concept and sort of make it like the game.
Best thing about the original MK was that the whole time Reptile was like a hidden character. I was at first shocked cause I didn't think he was gonna show up, but at the last minute he comes flying in all human.
MKA was out of control as the plot got loopy and people were mentioned and killed for no real reason. They just died. Like Sheeva's death, while I dislike the character, was WEAK.
The new movie needs to be REAL good. Everything needs to be tight. A diehard fan needs to write. So people here need to get cracking

i reckon that all the "goodies" shouldnt show any remorse or sympathy for their opponent. just like in the game. building up a fight for half an hour then to have one of them step down or give up easily so that the other can progress isnt on. i also believe that bridgette wilson should return as sonya. but rumor has it that sonya is going to be played by Trish Stratus(the wrestler) dont qoute me on that since it is just a rumour. Jade should also be in it (i love jade) noob and smoke should also be in there (make it like reptiles appearance in the first movie with them showing up before the end boss) Should be references to previous fighters, winners, and bosses. Shao Kahn if not in person in spirit should make an appearance. maybe not big though. Scorpion most definately needs to be in there. otherwise im not going to see it.

Dude I highly agree! just as long as we don't have to have Ed Boon saying "Mortal Kombat is more than just a fighting-game" because Deception has all those modes besides the fighting-game. Goodness Gracious I hated it when Ed Boon said that, I think of it as Pretentious and somewhat egotistical!

I also agree that Wilson should be back as Sonya....Johnny Cage should be back beacuse in my opinion is one of the best mk characters plus is an original one....I also think that Ermac should be back but with his story from MK: D....and since Tsung and Kahn are dead the villain should be Quan Chi

wait i thought that mk3 was gonna be a direct sequel to mortal kombat, and whe were told to forget all about mortal kombat 2 the movie,, i mean theres going to be a mortal kombat4(if mk3 does good) where all of the mk gold and beyond can take place, but people please be realistic with this, everything cannot happen in one movie, i mean thats why the sequel was a flop in the first place, they tried to put too much into one movie, and ignore a lot of key story lines to most characters

You all have good points, but what is really missing is that Shang Tsung needs to appear in there somewhere. It is in Tsung and Kahn that these movies can continue. Remember that is was not until Deadly Alliance that Kahn died and Deception that Tsung died. The only difference with these movies is that Scorpion and Sub-Zero will not be under Tsung's control. It should show fatalities by both Scorpion and Sub-Zero like the original movie did when Zero completely disintegrated his opponent at the arrival at Tsung's Island.

no the next one is having quan chi as the main badguy freeing shinnok from the netherealm, kind of like a continiuation of annihilation. It wont have kahn in it because he is dead, not in deadly alliance or mk4 and also because if they want us to watch it then theyd have to make some drastic changes to his appearance
