As a follow up to the Mortal Kombat 1 secret videos that I posted, I have decided to add Mortal Kombat 2, especially since MK1 has now been excluded from Midway Arcade Treasures 2 leaving MK2 and MK3 to dominate. Below I have posted a range of videos (in real player format) that show me getting my butt kicked by Jade, Smoke and Noob Saibot as well as me fighting Kintaro and Kahn for those people who might want a few pointers, and a few little tricks you can try on MK2.
I have added a pic of me playing my arcade in my TMK T-Shirt  Also, if anyone out there has MK2 version 2.1 (you can see the version number when the game powers up) you can keep doing babalities over and over again! Unfortuanlty I have MK2 3.0 so I wasn't able to make a video but I added a screenshot below.
 
You will notice in these videos I am playing on the player 2 side. Also a few tricks to note: pressing up and start on the character select screen activates random character select. In a 2 player game if you both press and hold down+hp on the VS screen throws will be disabled!
video #01 = Me fighting Kintaro. The point of me adding this video is alot of people say how hard kintaro is to beat, now you can see how I take care of his ass with Scorpion.
video #02 = Me fighting Shao Kahn. Agian, a point to this video is that any MK2 character can beat Shao Kahn using a series of kicks...as long as you get the timing right.
video #03 = This is the simple Dead Pool fatality, but not many people know if you hold down on the joystick after you uppercut them and keep holding it, after the skeleton comes out of the acid we hear a "awwww"!
video #04 = This is the simple Kombat Tomb fatality, agian if you hold down on both player joysticks after they hit the roof, they slide off the spikes after a few seconds!
video #05 = This trick was added for fun after the glitch in MK1 had everyone talking, after doing Cage's fatality (f,f,d,u) press and hold down+lp+bl+lk to see him uppercut off another 2 heads....sweet!
video #06 = In this video I demonstrate that you can do sub-zero's super frezze more than once, in fact I do it 21 times on jax (yeah...i really hate Jax!) everytime you do the first part of this fatality you are given and extra 3 seconds fatality time...so you can keep doing it as long as you want! I finish off the fatality by doing sub-zero's OTHER fatality (notice the glitch when the grenade hits the frozen body!)
video #07 = In MK2 3 characters had a HUGE advantage agianst Shao Kahn they are Baraka,Kitana and Kung Lao. Kahn is no match for there "trap" moves and just keep walking into them! In this video I show you Baraka owning Kahn.
video #08 = Same as above, except this time It's Kitana's turn.
video #09 = Same as above, except this time It's Kung Lao's turn.
video #10 = Well this is probly the first secret character you will encounter in MK2. First seen teasing the player by poking her head out from behind trees in The Living Forest, Jade is basicly a faster version of Kitana. Watch as she owns me with her speed. To fight Jade you have to win the match before the "?" mark using only Low Kick, that means no blocking either!
video #11 = Well this is probly the second secret character you will encounter in MK2. First seen teasing the player by poking his head out from behind trees in The Living Forest, Smoke is basicly a faster version of Scorpion with a very nasty smoking habbit. Watch as he owns me with his speed. To fight smoke, you need these few factors: you need to be on The Portal stage, you need to have Dan Forden's "Toasty!" face in the corner of you screen after an uppercut, thats when you hit down and start as fast as you can!
video #12 = Well the next 3 videos are me fighting Noob Saibot, you can fight Noob Saibot after wining 50 matches. He is very hard and is alot like smoke...but looks alot cooler. I lost to him 5 times, then I won a round with Mileena for some reason, winning that round stops you from fighting Noob agian, but if you don't win any rounds aginst him you can continue and fight him agian! In this video I fight Noob twice, first time with Mileena then with Scorpion.
video #13 = Same deal as above, but this time I use Sub-Zero then Baraka!

*update 16-12-04*
I was playing my MK2 arcade machine the other day, after I beat the game I got something I had never seen before (I have clocked MK2 about 200 times) It was a secret Game Over screen, just like in MK1! Unfortunatly, I didn't have anything on me to capture it... I told a few people online, then went back to my arcade machine but unfortunatly, the screen died on it so I can't play it anymore. So today I cracked out mame and kept losing at MK2 in hopes to capture the secret Game Over screen...Well I guess I was lucky, cause after losing 5 times it came up... it's posted below....cool huh?

has anyone beat noob saibot, snoke, or jade in the game once i came really close to beat smoke or noob i forgot who it was but i used sub-zero

I have beat Smoke and Jade...I think I beat Noob once...I am not certain but. As soon as you beat noob 1 round, if you lose the match in total you are not allowed to fight him agian....if you don't win any rounds agianst him you can keep fighting him.

Those are kool videos.
I had the nerve to watch you demonstrating how to defeat Kintaro & Shao Khan.
Thought you were gonna display your foolish defeat when Khan beat you in 1st round.

I remember seeing that Mortal 3 screen a very, VERY long time ago...I'll admit that it's rare...
My friend at the time said that there would be a Mortal 3 because they mentioned it on Mortal 2, and I was like ?!?!?
But I eventually saw it and couldn't wait...! Was that screen available for certain revisions? I'm assuming it would be the last one.

Well...I have 3.2 which is the Europian version and I saw it on my machine. When I got the screenshot, I got it on version 3.1 apart from those versions there is only 1.4 and 2.1 I am not sure if they have the screen. That screen is EXTREMLY rare...not just rare...like I said I have been playing MK2 tons since it's release and never seen that screen before.
Hehe, I did indeed lose a round to Kahn, but the main reason for that was me demonstrating that you can beat him with just LK and HK...my timing was off when I lost that round.
