Today I have been contacted by the Australian distributer for MK:Deception Red Ant. They have confirmed the release date for MK:Deception as November 17th Thanks agian to Red Ant. you heard it here first at TMK!

At least we don't have to wait 3 months like every other game that comes out....I love midway for pushing the PAL release forward to come out around the same time as the NTSC release.

I am importing it to get the 2 disc version, It looks like Australia isn't getting it. But this is still unconfirmed. I am getting all the covers from the states.

Hello everybody,
to this release dates i've a question. Something i don't unerstand! 
Yesterday i've send the german release date to the administrator of this site, now something engaged me...
Between the US release and the UK release are 5 weeks!
Between the german and the UK release are 15 days ... it's a litte bit confusing we. The question i have is: Why that?
I mean, american english and british english isn't much different. But english and german are very very different - so i can't understand, why they need 5 weeks to release it in the UK and 15 days more, to release a german version!!!
Somebody here write, that Midway try to release the PAL a little bit after the NTSC version. I hope they made it, but is this confirmed?
Translating from english to english takes 5 weeks and from english to german 15 days, i don't understand this.
I just preordered the UK-version of this game for a good price, by an import shop of my trust  - because the english version is uncensored, will be released faster and i can play them.
I've noticed that i can buy the NTSC version on October 4th, but my TV doesn't support 60 Hz (Black-white picture) and my PS2 is not a multinorm device ...
Do you understand this with PAL and NTSC, why it tooks so long time to translate - and have someone an official release date for the UK??? Everywhere i was looking, i see a different release (15.10, 01.11, 05.11 and so on).

Well, there can be a few reasons for this. Firstly, they have to do the PAL conversion from NTSC. Then they have all sorts of things to organise for the release in your country, usally Canada gets it after the US as they are so close to each other, follow by the UK being the next biggest area to release on, Australia usally gets it close to the UK release as our countries are very close in the way we release and rate games.

The 2disc special is avalible in aus at EB games if you preorder.. its $99 and thats what Im doing ^_^!!!!!!!!!

99$ - i think that's very expensive, or i'm wrong? I mean 99$... for the UK version of MK:D i pay 29,99£ - oh sorry i've seen that australia have it's own dollar  - so we pay the same

Sorry, but i think you hadn't understand my question - i mean, why tooks it so long from an american version to an UK version? Both lands speaking english. Do you really think that the PAL-coding takes 5 weeks??????
The 15 days between english and german version - i mean, that i takes several weeks to translate an entire game from english to german. So i can't understand - why it tooks 5 weeks in the release between USA and UK and 15 days between english and german that can't be true .
All who live in the USA have so much luck  ... they can play it in 13 days and we've 55 days left .
I hope midway produces the PAL version faster, that we can play the great game before the november begins - but my hope begins to fade  .

Hi!
Who i said - at first i haven't (<- hope this was correct in grammer) see, that australia have an own dollar. Now i've seen it and now the price is normal . My MK:D i've pre-ordered is the normal version, not the special version.
Damn, the special version doesn't came out in europe, the PAL-regions, no chance.
So, i must wait 54 long days until i can play it ... oh man!

Hi,
@Total-MK:
I know, only in the USA the 2-disc version is avaible.
In germany or australia you must order it from an import shop. EB games is one of this shops.
Requisite: You have a TV who can pose the NTSC-signal and a PS2 with a mod-chip or multinorm rebuild!
I've none of this two things, so i must wait for the PAL-version and i don't come into the pleasure of playing the NTSC-version with it's extra DVD .
