they say that liu kang is suppose to be in kano's body thats not fair he was suppose to remain dead liu kang was good but he was also sickening i couldnt stand that stupid bicycle kick that he does and when u jump at him he shoots fireballs in the air i hate that he should remain dead and let someone else win the tournament its not fair hes coming back

I agree that Lui Kang should stay dead cause they did that with Johnny Cage already and Lui Kang was too easy to cheat with. Pluse hes won every MK tournament/fight, why put him back in the spotlight, have a new champ for once.

I'm also sick of liu kang! i only really liked him in mk2. after that he became to bleak! well he's a little good in mk3 but other than that i didn't like him in mk4/mkd. i was glad he wasn't in mkda, i was probably another one of those happy mk fans. but now in deception he totally sucks! a zombie liu kang for first character and a human liu kang for his alt. what the hell? his alt should of been his soul!!!

From a MK perspective, I think Lu Kang should spend some quality time in the Netherrealm. However, he's a character that's been around in EVERY game, including Scorpion and Sub-Zero alone. These three characters have been in every MK (Lu Kang being the xception), and they will never go away. They have a huge fanbase, and it's good for marketing. Doesn't matter how much you hate 'em, they're staples of the MK series. Hell, I love Scorpion and Sub-Zero. Lu Kang may be cheep, but he's going to be round a long time...

well it's not that im expecting it to happen in the future, but u never know he might be back at the next MK series, since he was resurrected by some unknown force or something (see Liu Kang's ending).

Liu Kang is a good fighter and all but bringing him back from the dead isnt
on. His special moves are great and so is his fighting styles but i think
they should have taken a bit more time on the storyline for him.

I dont see why people are annoyed with Liu Kang coming back form the dead... I mean, come on if it wasn't for Liu Kang Mortal Kombat wouldn't be as popular nor as the same w/o him. In fact, I think MK would have lost many fans if Liu Kang was left dead. I DO hate the fact that he always gets the credit for "MK Champion", but i do NOT picture anyone else taking his place. If anything, i would like Li Mei to take the role as "MK champion" becasue she did win the Deadly Alliances' fake tournament. I believe that the MK team is doing whats best for MK. I think thats y so many of the endings can alter the MK universe if true. Whatever is the most popular or most favorite will probably come true and open a door to build up the next MK game. But for now, sticking with Liu Kang is their best bet. If Liu Kang continues to lose his popularity then someone else is bound to take his place.
