Hi again,
I've a new question for you !
I've found a movelist with all fatalities, Hara Kiri's etc...
I read that you can perform a fatality on two different ways - is that right?
The first method:
You can switch into the Fatality fighting style
The second method:
You can perform the combination without switching to the special fighting style.
My question to this two methods of perfoming are the follows:
to 1.: When you switch to this special fighting style, must i perform the combination on the controller anyhow? Or must i push one button to perform fatality 1 or 2 (this will be crap)???
And: The performing-ranges (sweep, close, far) are they in this fighting style relevant or when you switch to this style the range to your opponent adjust themselve, so that you don't have to respect the ranges and can perform it?
to 2:
You must respect the ranges to perform, right!? So when i'm close to the opponent, but the fatality must perfomed in far distance - he's not working!?
So, now i'm working on my own crib-sheets for fatalities and moves. I've many days left before i get the game, so i can create my own sheets .
Best regards

I read this on another message board so it may be wrong, but I heard the Fatality stance just lets you ignore the range on the fatalities. You would still need to enter the proper command manually and before the opponent enters the Hara Kiri command (if they are trying to do it).
The second method should be the same as it was in the earlier MK games that required the proper distance. The only advantage I could see for the second one is if it is overall quicker to enter the fatality command if you are already at close to the proper distance, which would be important if you are trying to beat someone who is going to do the Hara Kiri.

okay you can dot he fatality either way but when you switch to fatality stance you still have to do the movements, the reason for the fatality stance is so you don't have to hold block when doing some fatalities that would make you jump like down up down up etc.

Hi,
thanks for your answers.
So the fatality stance is for ppl who've no desire to hold "Block" by some of the fatalities or move to the correct range from the opponent!?
The regular method is like in MK2 and the other games except MKDA!
Hmmm... i think method 2 is the fastest and better way to perform the fatality, because the your opponent had the chance to perform his Hara Kiri. When you switch into the fatality stance, he see that you perform a fatality, that's boring . The enemy must be surprised!
To method 2 also:
I thought it's a little bit like MKDA... There were a few fatalities which you must perform likewise: Up, Down, Up, Down, Triangle. But if you perform this kind - the fighter didn't jump up or down!
I've heared that in MKD the jump is directional up and not special up, so you can perform them without pressing "Block".
Is that correct? Or is it better to hold "Block"?
Another question :
Is it correct, that many fatalities are twice? I've heard that Scorpions second fatality with a rip (???) is the same like Sub Zero's and Darrius??? I hope the other fighter have different fatalities. And this is an unique exception!
Regards
