Every Character from MK2 will be in the game.. maybe not playable, but they will be in there. Of course there will be exceptions like Kano and Sonya. also key characters to the MK plot like Sindel should and will be in the game.

i think that they will have all the MK characters in th arcade mode. But in Konquest they'll have:

All MK2 chracters will be present along with Ermac, Kabal, Goro, and other MK1 and Mk3 characters. (according to gameinformer mag., Boon said that it would contain everything MK2 with a little of MK1 and MK3.)

I doubt Kai would be in it. I think Bo Rai Cho has a better chance of appearing because he was the trainer of Liu Kang. Maybe he would be in MK:SM as a trainer or guide.

Well i guess Kai can make an appearance in MK:SM because he is friends with Liu Kang and is a former member of the White Lotus Society, but i don't know if he'll make the cut. No offense but I don't think has that many fans.

why would shinnok,quan chi,onaga and moloch be in it.
onaga is an egg and the rest are trapped in the netherealm.
(at this point noone has the amulet:correct?)
btw at the end of mk3 shang tsung informs quan chi of the location of the amulet in exchange for releasing sindel from the netherealm: correct?
who do they get to get it? or does quan chi have the original and is just waiting for the right time and the guarded amulet is fake?
