well if you've unlocked Jade, switch to her fighting style with the weapon, the weapon is long enough to hit him from a distance, however for some attacks with her weapon you need to be slightly closer, he's pretty tough it took me a while to win, he's pretty hard, just figured i'd recommend her, Jade's pretty sweet, with the other characters, i'm still working on them

i used baraka to beat him, switch to Blades, use the combo xxyy on him if you hit one of the statues to stun him. if he comes in close, use the shredder move or keep sweeping him, for some reason he wont block the sweeps very often. when he backs off use his projectile move and side step his fireballs, be sure your lined up for a statue again before he gets close again.

With so much time, energy, and frustration, I beat Onaga with Scorpion. I just alternate spear and teleport kick and abuse the Mugai Ryu if he gets near.

Scorpion
Raiden
Jade
Ashra
Ermac
Subzero
Kobra
Sujinku
Kenshi
I've beatin MK Deception 9 times already,and I just got it 2 weeks ago.

I first beat Onaga with Liu Kang. All of his SB combos are very effective against him, and so's the Bicycle Kick. From what I hear, Liu Kang does double damage on the DK.

Trick: go up close to him and to combos...after your done retreat away from him as fast as you can and then he will do a little taunt...then repeat the process (i beat it with almost every character because of that trick!)

Id recommend Jade since her combos deal more damage to Onaga, that's all

Ridiculous. Just ridiculous. Hell, use Liu Kang's Bicycle Kick. Takes about 4-5 kicks to beat him. Hell, it worked for me! Any reactions? Someone experienced it already?

Yeah best character to use against the dragon king is kang. Use Liu kang's bicycle kick and his kang bang. Rather than kang almost all characters can beat him just by touching the komidogu and doing a style branching combo, exept Kira. For Kira just use her weapons and do her last combo listed called Hi-Octane
