|

Hi everyone,
i'm still wondering, why nobody is interested in death traps and the arenas in the game .
Everywhere i was showing, everyone talks about "Super Unlockables", "Fatalities" and the "Hara-Kiris", but no one talks about the arenas and her death traps, so finally i make it .
I've confirmed death traps and not confirmed death traps, it's interesting to find out which death traps are in the game!
My list of unconfirmed death traps so far:
1.) Beetle Lair
2.) Netherbelly Ship
3.) Dragon Mountain (in a concept art, i've seen that this arena should've one death trap, where you can knock your opponent from the mountain)
4.) Quan Chi's Fortress
5.) The Glass Tower (with the gears under the glass plate)
Please, i don't want to know how this death traps look like (what's happening to the opponent), the only thing i would like to know is: Which of the 5 listed arenas have a death trap?
My second question:
Can you play the MK1 arenas in regular versus game? I've heard yes...
My last question:
Are there other arenas with two or more death traps like the Lower Mines arena?
Thanks in advance for answers!
And please, no description of the death trap!!! thx
Best regards

Well,
For your first question, to check if the arean has death traps, go into Training or Versus mode and press the White (or black) button to bring up t he arean select menu. When you are cycling through the arenas, look underneath the picture. If there is a skull, there is a death trap, and an axe if there is a weapon to pick up. Also, the lower mines does have 2 death traps but that is all i know for right now. Quan Chis fortress does have one, Beetles Lair does not, Netherbelly Ship does not, The Glass Tower and Dragon Mountain do not (as far as I know). As far as the MK1 thing, Im not sure. Have to test it...

Thanks for testing it. QuanChi's i'm thinking about it, but i'm wondering that the Dragon Mountain doesn't have anyone. For me, it was clear that the Beetle Lair doesn't have a DT.
The Glass Tower and Netherbelley Ship would be cool, if they've a DT .
But thx very much for the information!!!
Best regards

Are you sure The Netherbelly has no death trap...if you fight at the top before being knocked onto the barrels, you can smash the windows there out the back of the ship...looks like you could knock them out the window

Hi,
@Total-MK:
I've heard that when you fight on the lower level of the Netherbelly Ship you can knock your opponent through the bottom and there're spikes like in the Pit 1 or the Falling Cliffs! But this DT isn't confirmed yet and i rather think that this DT is a rumor, nothing more.
I'm still wondering about the Glass Tower and the Dragon Mountain, my opinion is - that in this arenas you can place great DT's like kick your opponent in the rotating gears or knock him through the Dragon Mountain. How i said, in one of the magazine scans there's a concept art of the Dragon Mountain in which you can knock your opponent outside the arena .
But nobody had confirmed this DT in the meanwhile .
I think in the Gamecube-Version of MKD, all arenas which haven't a DT in the PS2 or XBox version, have a DT!!!
I think also, that in the GC-version the ice-stage is in it as a bonus stage, they all said, that in the GC-version is exclusive material that isn't in the other version of that game...
So i think that the ice-stage is in it, Bettle Lair, Glass Tower, Netherbelly Ship, The Portal and Living Forest all have DT. So the GC-player have in all arenas DT's as compensation for a missing online mode .
That's my opinion!
Best regards
