I just found out that it will be another adventure game like Mythologies and not MK7. I got it from TRMK, it with be like an adventure game based around MK2 (with updated backgrounds of MK2 backgrounds) and you use both Lui Kang and Kung Lao. There will be ten fatalities to use on bosses, includeing dual fatalities and brutalities. It sounds cool, I hope it will turn out good. _________________ ΣΦE

I think it's going to be an above average game. Since it is Action/Adventure, it's going to have to strive really hard to be one of the best because this market is rather flooded.
Hopefully it will have a unique style of it's own and open up the franchise to more Action/Adventure, with new characters. _________________

If this game is just on the horizon, Midway will most likely be releasing it on the current systems. XBOX, PS2 and Gamecube. Like Deception, these systems could be subject to change in which they feel like working with. I don't think they would do that nextgen systems only because they aren't out yet and might prove a little risky to bring their new game into.

Gamecube is a nice system, its a powerhouse in graphics and definitely can hold its own in gaming against the others. The control layout is weird to work with for MK. But we'll see what they choose

They shouldn't leave out GC, and why would they anyway, there making Deception for it. I like the controlls on the GC for games anyway, but they shouldn't leave it out. It's not like GC is behind the others and would bring down the game, is just as good. _________________ ΣΦE

I did not say that there was anything wrong with GC. My sis has one and it's great, though the conyrolers do anoy me. But despite Nitindo's eforts with mature games. GC is still a kiddy console. And i don't think a Mk game is right for itt. _________________

I have already had this debate on this forum, and there are MORE M and MA15+ (matures) games on GC than the "kiddy" games of which you speak.
Also, I played through MK:DA on Gamecuber before x-box and ps2...and I had no trouble doing it. The only thing was the trigger buttons (because they are anologue) need to be pushed right in sometimes...you can't just tap them...but you get used to that.

I doubt it, Zelda is what started to sell the Gube in huge numbers....sure some kids would play it, but I think older people would know it more because it started from the NES > SNES > N64 >Gamecube

Yea the Zelda games are good, but a lot of people I know sold their GC when the game was going to be cell shaded. Still GC is a good and they might put MK:SM on it, but so far its only for PS2 and X-Box. _________________ ΣΦE

What does that have to do with anything. Anyway, Sholin Monk is only for PS2 and X-Box so there might be online play in this one. _________________ ΣΦE
