My favourite character is sub zero because ive memorised all of his attacks and can beat almost everyone i fight. But my second favorite would have to be raiden his thunder attacks are so cool and third would be mileena

Shao Kahn and Baraka. But I haven't played this game I just like them...
I also like Kung Lao, Raiden and Liu Kang. Oh, and the robot ninjas but I don't think those three are in it...

Raiden is in it as an unlockable character.
Sub-Zero and Liu Kang. I know all of Sub-zero's moves, and it's rare that anyone can pull off a victory against me. I like Liu Kang because it's hilarious to play as him. His moves are ridiculously quick and I can just keep wailing at people.

Sub-Zero hands down. Not the best but definately not the worst. I got tricks up my sleeves when I use him. Hes a good but the only thing that hinders his abilities is his lack of moves. Im sorry but 3 moves is not enough for a contender like him. They need to bring back the ice shower, or the slide(replaced by cold shoulder).
The ice shower was great for people who charged, because a nicely timed ice shower(close) would trap a rushing enemy super quick. Or if they tried to jump back you could use ice shower(far). If you knew how to use those moves properly then Sub was someone not to triffle with. Well still now he isnt someone to triffle with.
