For those of you that have seen Noob-Smokes ending you know that Noob is in fact the sub-zero from MK1. I think that this is possibly the best story line that Boon & Co. have come up with in a long time. I like that fact that Noob is infact Sub-Zero, what do you guys think about this?

thats awsome to here ! since i dont own the game(gettin it in three weeks  ) i only rented it and didnt have the chance to play it that long (fuckin high school  ) and was only able to beat it with kabal, anyway its good to here that Ed Boon created a good story line for noob saibot (finally)

And endings don't say much ... Maybe it's just fake.

I should take the word "spoiler" more serious. Cause now I know, and it sucks. This is a more than radical, silly change to the MK storyline that I don't like at all.
But yea, there's still the possibility of a "what if"-ending. They were bullshiting us about Liu Kano and the Drahmin/Quan Chi merging, as well.

In my opinion, it is a great twist to the storyline that adds depth to a previously flat character. As for it being canon - we'll just have to wait until MK7.

Sorry Sketor I should have been more clear about revealing Noob-Smokes ending in my subject line. I would also like to add though that I beleive that Noob-Smoke's ending is probably true except for the fact that he kills Sub-Zero, just for the simple fact that Boon stated that he would not be involved in a MK that did not feature Scorpion or Sub-Zero....unless he brings back Sub-Zero 1(Noob Saibot)

Noob-Smokes Ending is the biggest suprise of MKD in my opinion. Not only both Sub-Zero's Friends and Brother betrays him we also find out Noob Saibot is his brother, the original Sub-Zero. Noob-Smoke's Ending may not be true, but the fact that he is Sub-Zero's brother may be true. I could already see members arguing about it like they did with Reiko's ending. I'll wait 'till MK7 has in store for us MK fans. (MK REALLY needs to bring back FMV endings)

I like how Noob is actually the fist Sub-Zero cause it dosn't conflict with anything else in the story line. It also explans Noob's ice shatter fatality in MK4.

it sounds cool,but i dont like the idea of subzero dieing he is my fav character.But i like noob now,i wonder what will happen in mk7,but wot about smoke i wonder wot he will do?(mmmmmmmmmmmm...)

well, i believe it was ashrah's ending, that smoke was unable to fight becasue the netherrealm messed up his circuits. so , i believe this will ultimately lead to the split of the two. also, ashrah kills noob, but i doubt this will be a followed ending.

Yeah, but whose to say how attached Noob really is to Smoke. It was afterall his brother and Smoke who were the true friends. If fully tainted by the Netherrealm, I'm sure Noob has the whole mentality of sacrifice. He only wants Smokes nanotech for his cyberdemons, I'm sure Smoke being capable of fighting is not a problem, which could lead to his destruction at the hands of Noob...unless of course Noob does value Smoke
