I'm so confused by this! Where do u do hara kiris? Ive tried doing them when i killed someone and it says "finish him" and siwtched to fatality didnt work, and Ive alos tried letting a friend beat me to the "finish him" and i enter it there, still didnt work. Can someone please help!

Hara-Kiri is a Japanese word that is translated to Hara(Belly)-Kiri(Cutting). It is a ritual form of Suicide and disembowelment practiced by the Japanese. So to do a Hara-Kiri, you have to be beaten and do them after it says "Finish Him/Her." You have to be quick because the computer will usually hit you fast. They were put in the game to deny the other player the privilege of finishing you off. Check out the move list on this forum for all of the working ones.

Ya, i bought the game last night and i started playing the arcade game with Sub-Zero....i kicked Ermac's ass, and he kicked mine in 1 round....but when I was to finish him, i pressed R1 (on the ps2), and then all of a sudden Ermac did a "Hara-Kiri"....i dont know how i did it or wtf happened....but it was cool to see Ermac basically kill himself.

Well for starters, Hara Kiri is a suicidal move. You didn't have to do anything for Ermac or ANYONE to kill themself. They basically are taking away the pleasure of you finishing them off by finishing themselves. I've seen SEVERAL Hara Kiri's and it sometimes piss me off cause I'll be in the middle of trying a finishing move of my own. I only wish that the computer didn't hit you so quick when they beat you cause they leave NO opportunity for you to kill yourself.
