AIGHT, THIS GOES OUT TO ALL MY FELLOW LIN KUEI FOLLOWERS AND SUB-ZERO FANATICS. TO START NOT THAT I HAVE ANYTHING AGAINST ED BOON OR ANYTHING, BUT GODDAM MAN, I MEAN IT SEENS THAT EVER SINCE JOHN TOBIAS LEFT THE MORTAL KOMBAT FRANCHISE, ITS BEEN SUB-ZERO DOWNHILL, I MEAN IF YOU GUYS USE THE CHARACTER I THINK YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN, TO START, IT WAS THOSE GODAMN STYLES, NOT TO SAY THAT I DIDN'T MASTER THEM I MEAN FUCK YEAH, I HAD NO CHOICE, BUT C'MON HE COULDA PICKED AT LEAST ONE BETTER STYLE THAN THE ONES HE HAS. I MEAN C'MON LOOK AT SCORPION'S STYLES, FUCK, I SWEAR THAT GUY'S STYLES ARE FLAMIN' YO. YOU LOOK AT HIS HAPKIDO AND I MEAN WOW ITS FAST ITS SWIFT AND TO TOP IT ALL OF IT HAS SWEEPS, COMPARE THAT TO THAT GODFORSAKING SHOTOKAN SYLE, NOT TO INSULT THE STYLE BUT, EVEN IF NINJAS WE'REN'T ORIGINALLY FROM CHINA YOU CAN'T JUST TAKE AWAY THE STEALTH FROM A NINJITSU BASED CHARACTER. DONT GET ME WRONG I MEAN SUB ZERO IS WAY MORE THAN RESOURCEFULL BUY THEY COULD HAVE MADE HIM MORE OF A MATCH FOR SCORPION NOT THAT HE ALREADY IS, ITS JUST THAT IR YOU'RE GONNA HAVE A NINJA THEN YOU KEEP HIM A NINJA, AND NOT TURN HIM INTO A SUMO WRESTLER WITH NOTHING BUT POWER BASED MOVES. YOU KNOW NORMALLY I WOULD HAVE NEVER EVER PROTESTED ABOUT ANYTHING WITH SUB-ZERO, I MEAN WITH HIM BEING MY ALL TIME FAVORITE CHARACTER AND ALL, BUT AS SOON AS I SAW THOSE NEW DISGRACING COSTUMES, HEY I HAD TO BE HEARD! REALLY, I HAVE NO FUCKING IDEA WHAT ED BOON WAS THINKING WHEN HE DECIDED TO TURN SUB-ZERO INTO SHREDDER FROM THE NINJA TURTLES, OR EVEN WORSTE WHEN HE MADE HIM BALD, WHAT THE FUCK! if subby is only power based,he only has three powers,which means he would die instantly,and I can beat the game with him even without using powers,which means eaither you suck with him,or all you do is powers

I strongly igree with posts above, to me u dont seem like a true subzero fan and have not truely mastered him i myself barely use his special moves. i like the new costumes because its nice to see a change.

Sub-Zero Vl makes a point sub zero is not a ninja but that doesnt mean that hes also a damn samurai, if you guys were TRUE Sub fan and he doesnt mean power moves as in powers he means power move as in SLOW and if Sub Zero should keep his alt costune from Deadly Allience because it makes him look LIN KUEI! and his alt costume on Deception looks like shit!

Sub Zero is not a Ninja, nor is he a Samurai. He looks NOTHING like a Samurai. Sub Zero and the Lin Kuei are Chinese while Ninjas, Samurai and the Shirai Ryu are Japanese.
You don't like his look, get over it because Sub Zero is AGING. He'd OLD. He had salt and pepper hair in MKDA, now hes got a stark white ponytail, so Midway has been doing a damn good job keeping his story in check.
Also, Sub Zero VI or TheHellScorpion, if you don't like the Shotokan then use the Dragon style, which is a nice combination of power and speed. His old costume was nice, but his new, CRYOMANCER armor is even nicer. Bite your lips and deal with the change, cause for the most part its getting better, especially since this Sub Zero LEFT the Lin Kuei.

Ok... Im not saying that sub is a samurai im saying he looks like one cuz of the helmet and all the damn armor and i personaly prefer Scorpion out of every fighter.
