If you haven't seen Noob-Smoke's Kombat ending, I highly recommend you do not read any further. Sorry, but I don't know how to make the font the color of the background so that you have to highlight it to see it.
In Noob-Smoke's ending (Noob-Saibot and Smoke joined forces), it says that Noob-Saibot was the original Sub-Zero, and the new Sub-Zero is his own brother. He and Smoke kill Sub-Zero, and that is Noob-Saibot's first action as Ruler of the Netherrealm.

I saw the noob-somoke final movie and you are right noob saiboot were the original sub zero killed by scorpion. And because noob saw how much is brother were strong he killed him
