Well, it's just a thought, but:
Zaterra is a race, so there must be more Reptile. If they capture one of them for cyber, there will be still remains more Reptile as ninja(remember Conquest Series?). So MKT and UMK too has 2 kind of Sub-Zero, why can't be there two kind of Reptiles?

That wouldn't be cool. 2 Sub-Zeros are enough..well actually there is only one sub-zero. the original sub-zero became noob saibot. also, i dont think the lin kuei is still automating their ninjas becasue the lin kuei is now good and sub-zero is the grandmaster. If anything, i believe sektor is the one who is starting a cyberninja clan so he is the one who might automate a zaterran.

Yes, but the Zaterrians are more faster than any others, so this could be a right business for the Lin Kuei.

Actually that would be possible. but then there would be 2 Zaterrans, not 2 Reptiles. Reptile is a individual person, who is a Zaterren

It would've been the right business for the OLD Lin Kuei. Sub Zero is by far against automation, so I don't think his clan would be creating any cyborgs.
Now if there was a rogue faction of the Lin Kuei, still following the old ways, then they might go about creating more automatons, but, as Jay said, Sektors Telekunin(I think thats it) would be interested in continuing their automation, especially since he has converted the whole of Japan into cyborgs.
As for the two Sub Zeros in UMK3 and MKT had two Sub Zeros for a reason. They gave old school Sub Zero and Unmasked Sub Zero. But then us who had N64 had Super Sub Zero, the ninja form with the powers of both warriors.
I would've supported the 2 Reptiles idea if it wasn't for MKDA explaining the change of Reptile. In MK4 it seemed like it was a completely different Reptile then the one that worked for Shao Kahn, at least the bio presented it that way. But MKDA said Reptile was deevolving, so its been the same since the beginning, and I would not want to see Reptile be automated.
Its like I said before, I wouldn't know whats better. An unrelenting Cyborg without a soul, or a perfectly trained assassin with a wide array of unnatural special attacks

Well right now we've also seen two Zaterrans; Reptile and Khameleon...well three since the PS2 version had Chameleon the male and that does eliminate Reptile as the last of his species. So it would be cool to see more of them

WoZ, you're absolutely right! I didn't played with games released after MK4, but I know somehow the storyline. I didn't experienced it so I forgot a lot about it(well hope MK3 movie will show it to us). I agree that as long as Sub-Zero the Grandmaster of the New Lin Kuei there'll be no more cybers, and the thing about Reptile and the Dragon King.
But about MKT: there was 2 Sub-Zero, but we know that those were brothers.

I know, but like I said, the N64 version only had the masked Sub Zero with all the powers of bother warriors. PSX was lucky to have both Sub Zeros and of course Goro and Kintaro as playable characters

I suspect Reptile to be back in his old form more than anything. I just find the part with Sindel's ending to be too much of a teaser. I know anything can still be possible, but that seems to be the most legitimate since they actually show it and such.

the tekunin are the army of cyborgs that sektor tried to create in japan. i think this is why fujin hasnt been in kombat. protecting japan.
it would have made more sense for sektor to have teamed with noob as they both want to make armies of cyborgs/demons. maybe they could have a war!!!
anyway, reptile being a cyborg would look cool but everyone prefers the ninja

1) that would mess up the story
2) Reptile would lose his orginality and identity

That would be crazyto automate him. How would he use his acid or tongue abilties. But I did imagine him as a cyber, looks good but I think it is time that they gave him his original look. You know what we need to see, a female cyber ninja. Not Kitana or Jade...a whole new character. lol, i just thought about a cyber sheeva. why don't just automate all the characters.
