i hope it would be Quan Chi, he has not been a boss himself yet, in DA he was fought either before or after Shang Tsung. in MKG, he is only a boss if you go 2 on 2 but it is still mainly Shinnok. i would hope the next onwe would be ionle Quan Chi

My best bet will be Shao Kahn. If Havik's ending is anything close to being true you can bet on it. Also, the dev. team is being flooded with request to bring kahn back. I hope it will be Kahn.

Ok...this is what I see happening in the next MK game (not monks)
In the intro, we learn that while so many of the kombatants from Deception tried to defeat Onaga...no one could, not even Raiden (as we are told this, we see footage of differant warriors fighting, and being knocked around like rag dolls) Then after Onaga knocks down the last warrior standing (Raiden) Shao Kahn walks in, the narrator says that (Shao Kahn, is a very underestimated ruler of Outworld, he may be only a peasent ruler...but over the years on the throne he developed so many dark skills and learnt so many fighting styles, that he became a very formidable warrior) he then explains that Shao Kahn was belived to be dead, when Quan Chi and Shang Tsung attacked him in his throne room, however...Shao Kahn had already learned of this plight before they had arrived and had put an Outworld civilian that looked like Kahn on the throne, in Kahn's armor...while Kahn prepared for greater things to come.
As Kahn enters the throne room, he says in a deep rough and scary voice "I am the only true ruler of Outworld!" then Onaga turns to face Kahn, and laughs saying "hahaha, you....you are nothing!" (This angers Kahn, as it's one of the lines that he uses to taugnt) Then we see Kahn and Onaga fighting, Kahn demonstarting his shadow charge moves and energy javalins on Onaga, to our surprise we see Onaga taking alot of damage...but the fight is far from 1 sided as Onaga picks up Kahn and SLAMS him into the floor Kahn gets up all exhusated, and makes one final lunge at Onaga....right before Kahn lays a hit, Shang Tsung enters the palace...to Kahn and Onaga's shock they belive him to be dead from Raidens blast, however... this sorcerer had developed many dark tricks, just like kahn....even the ability to teleport his mind and body, he aids Kahn and they both take down Onaga, Kahn then turns to Shang and looks angry as hell and says "You betrayed me, with that lunatic sorcerer Quan Chi!" Shang then says "I did, however from the battle you just fought I have realised that you are the only true ruler of Outworld....master" Kahn then seems to let the anger go and says "Bow to me" (we then see Shang bowing to Kahn) Then the narration takes over agian, saying that Kahn and Shang Tsung are both formidable warriors and now that they have the amulet,(we see footage of Kahn attaching it to his MK2 style costume) they plan to take over earth...Kahn will never give up the will to rule earthrealm, so once agian...It's up to earth warriors to stop Kahn and Shang Tsung. These are the words of........................................SCORPION.
