The only way to do it is by using the game shark, there is no way found yet to unlock him normally. You can also use the game shark to play as Onaga in Puzzle Kombat.

i dont think using a cheating deveice with your ps2 is a good idea i heard it can ruin the little eye that reads the disk

Yeah, the Game Shark isn't very good for your PS2 or game. I had a Game Shark for N64 and it really messed up my Goldeneye game.

You can't unlock Onaga normaly, same goes for Kano,Jax,Frost,Shang Tsung,Kung Lao and Sonya. Most of there animations for that character is in the game, but not at 100% of them....if you use a Gameshark or X-Box MKD trainer to use the characters and a fatality or death trap gets done on you, the game freezes because the animations of death for those characters were never programmed into the game.
