I would like to thank the MK community for giving me this opportunity to work on this wonderful site. I welcome you to join the community, post out on the forums, and check back often because the site is updated DAILY. Here's an excerpt from the website:
We want to welcome you to the Grand Opening of the Exclusive Mortal Kombat Fansite made by Robert P. Thomas (KnightRobby). This website is the ultimate Mortal Kombat source, and has the latest information, not to mention never-before-seen interactive features, such as "The Krypt," "The Event," forums, and much more.
I personally hope that you enjoy this website. We have included all of the content about Mortal Kombat: Deception and the other MK games. We update the fansite daily with news and information regarding new developments in the world of Mortal Kombat.
Key Features:
The Event! Be sure to register to participate in our on-going events. Our first event is titled "War of the Clans," where users can actively vote on who they think will win the tournament, etc. Learn more about "War of the Clans" and what Events are.
Currency! When you post out on our forums, we would like to give you some sort of reward to say thank you. So we have a currency system; each and every time you post, reply, or start a new thread, you earn ruby, gold, jade, sapphire, and platinum. But not only this, you can participate in our events to earn even more currency! When you gain a certain amount, you can buy items at the Krypt!
The Krypt! After earning currency, or if you just want to "window shop," you can now buy such items as Scorpion's sword, a Mortal Kombat Shrine, and nearly anything else. We are constantly updating the Krypt, so if you don't see your desired item, we're in the process of making it!
Forums! Ah yes! We want to welcome fellow Mortal Kombat fanatics into our forums. If you want to drop by, go to our forums now!
Downloads! Want to download some cool wallpapers, or videos? Then the download page is the place to go!

Although the content for Deception is lacking (There's a few things missing) the site's design is all aruond good. However, the Frontend lacks and needs to be more flexuible for the task you want it to achieve.
I'm looking forward to the finished product

conker, your sig rocks^_^, although I hate the fact XBOX is going to destroy another classic with a hlaf arsed remake ^_^.
Anyway, he most probably used either Frontpage *shudders*, Dreamweaver or Photoshop.
Or, if he's super 1337 |-|@><0r he probably used Notepad.
