I feel bad for those who put WWE Smackdown!
I. WWE Raw
II. Naruto
III. Bleach (Michael Jackson influenced the title.)
IV. ECW (Back in 1999)
V. Most shows on Adult Swim. _________________

Any 'pro wrestling' is a joke, with WWE being the worst. You want some real skillful and amazing wrestling, watch indie feds like PWG (Pro Wrestling Gorrila), PWU (Pro Wrestling Unplugged), CZW (Combat Zone Wrestling), ISW (Internet Syndicate Wrestling), RoH (Ring of Honor), and many others. Trust me, I am a wrestling buff myself and am in training for my indie lisensce.
But, back to the subject at hand. For 'live tv':
House
M*A*S*H
Glen Beck
Nancy Grace
Most Evil
For anime:
Neon Genesis Evangelion
Ghost in the Shell (All seasons)
Tokko
Serial Experiments Lain
Excell Saga
Paranoia Agent
Cromartie High school
There's a lot more, and I have the full list written down, but I'll save some space. And as for other anime mentioned:
Naruto is crap in a can. Not only was the dubbing horrible, but even in subbed, they drag it out way too much. The manga was so much better. Bleach and One Piece suffer the same way. Samurai Deeper Kyo was interesting, but lacked a decent story, and got repeditive quickly. Dragon Ball Z was alright, but again, falled prey to repeditiveness. The Inuyasha anime was even worse then Naruto and Bleach. They achived nothing over the coarse of the whole anime, even the creators got tired of it and just left the story hanging. _________________

ya know, I always thought that the ending to Eva was kinda retarded... just some pseudo-intellectual psychological stuff to confuse people and give people an excuse to say that the ending was "omg SO deep", even though they didn't understand it.
I like anime with a straight-forward plot, thanks. like Death Note. great plot, superb animation, a little bit of satire thrown in, and some major guy candy. rawr. (and Misa-Misa, if you're into that kinda thing)
Bleach and Naruto are today's DBZ, which explains the crazy long story arcs and the less than stellar animation at times. it costs a lot to budget such a huge project. I haven't seen much of Naruto, but I'm enjoying the hell out of Bleach. I like the characterizations, and because it's so visual, it's better for someone like me who has a really hard time paying attention to reading things.
I don't mean to sound like I'm totally bashing your post, Vain. my apologies if anything I said upsets you. ^_^; _________________ Nikki: your friendly neighborhood moderator. ^_^

Not at all, it's just good debate and conversation. But, in return, I gatta stab at yours a bit
The original ending, episodes 25 and 26, like a small portion of the anime, weren't meant to be understood, they weren't meant to have answers. Anyone that can look you in the eye and say they fully understand Evangelion is a flat out lair. Excuse the comparison, but Evangelion is like Shakesphere, (sp?) you just simply can't understand it all even if you study it your whole life. And trust me, I've been an Eva nut case for a solid 4 years and there is still much I question.
The 'trilogy' ending (Death, Rebirth, End), was made with two reasons. 1. To give a more solid ending and 2. because the creator had death threats against him from thousands of fans for the first ending he gave. Thus, the Eva trilogy was born. From the new end, much more is drawn out in fuller detail which explain various odd things in the last two episodes (Misato and Ritsuko suddenly dead, why Rei only played a supporting role with intrumanality, unlike Shinji, Asuka, and Misato who were the main focus, to name some).
And now, with the newest and hopefully final line of Eva, we have the Rebuild of Evangelion. You see, much was taken out of the anime, due to budget and current events, the Rebuild is thus made with full funding and support, and after watching a fan sub of You Are [Not] Alone, I am simply amazed at how the series has been beautifully brought back to life.
Now, as for Death Note... that anime sucked hardcore. No offense, but the plot was boring, the animation quality while good, is little more then just that, eye candy, if there's no substance to it.
And I wouldn't compare Bleach or Naruto to DBZ. That would imply DBZ had depth to it. Mind you, I dont hate DBZ, but there really is no depth to it at all. I think Naruto and Bleach try to be more like Yu Yu Hakusho, giving a real thought out story with unique characters, but comes up short as it just keeps killing itself with the dragging and repeating themes. _________________
