Baraka was the race of the Nomadic Mutants, later named Tarkarta, and after seeing him fight, Shao Kahn enrolled him in his army,
Kitana being Edenian, and a Goody-Two-Fans, Shao Kahn wants to keep an eye on her, he gets his lead Sorcerer, Shang Tsung, To Create a stronger replica of Kitana, Shao Kahn adds Barakas blood to The Ritual, thereby making Mileena stronger than Kitana.

Both.
Shao Kahn knew that Kitana would turn against him so he had to make sure that she could be overpowered, Barakas blood mixed with Tsungs clone gave Mileena added strength. This was planned and allowed Mileena to be stronger than Kitana.

Actully...they have never said only 1 ending comes true for each game. The only thing we know is not all endings come true, the fact that we see them fighting in this makes me think that parts of there MK2 ending came true, like them being "companions" and now fighting... thats what it seems like to me.

because Baraka and Mileena were not discovered as allies. Be honest, would anyone expect one of Shao Khan's daughters secretly working alongside a filty barbarian? It would have seemed very unlikely in Outworld that that would have happened. As for Mileena, if you want to know the REAL history of her and how she was created, go to www.fanfiction.net and look for the story Kitana: Redemption. Its the only MK story I've ever read and I tell you, it explains ANYHTING you wanted to know about Kitana, Mileena, Jade, Sindel and Shao Khan. theres also a story about how Mileena was killed by Kitana by the same author and how Reiko and Sareena were introduced among Mortal Kombat.

I would NOT trust fanfiction because it isn't backed up by any real facts, which is why i choose to look at tabmok's99 plot faq.

yeah I suppose Fanfiction is guarenteed to be accurate. but what I read makes sense to me. In konquest mode, when you first gain entrance to Baraka's militia, talk to all the Tarkatan. One claims they will defeat him to gain control of the horde, and another claims "Mileena is beautifull! I will claim her as my bride!" so maybe Mileena and Baraka were never married in the first place. that or else some crazy mutant mo-fo is trying to steal Baraka's biatch!

Mileena did what she had to do in MKD to complete what she was destiny for ever since she was created. So she killed Baraka's "Decoy". Baraka then sliced her in half.

Ok to clear things up......I meant to say that fanfiction is NOT to be trusted. (I edited my post).
And there are some errors in tabmok's mk plot. He takes some endings seriously and writes them in as facts. Endings cannot be taken seriously until the next game comes out and comfirms it. As of now, Mileena did NOT do anything Baraka (...yet) and she ISN'T dead.
