I just got UMK3 for MAME and I've been playing it lately, and I noticed something. There are only 4 stages that cycle! Waterfront, Kahn's Lair, Hell. and Jade's Desert. Where are the rest MK3 levels? Aren't they even in this game? I thought there were (at least in the Arcades). _________________ For every sprinkle I find...I shall kill you.

Perhaps its just the person that created that MAME. There of course were a variety of levels in UMK3, but the MAME might not be the entire thing, or it could only hold so many levels

The MK3 levels ARE in UMK3. You just need to play longer in order to reach the stages. _________________

Sektor is right, if you keep playing you will get the MK3 levels eventualy. You get to them faster if you don't get uppercuted or uppercut anyone up to higher levels.

In UMK3 there's only one conventional way to get the MK3 stages, and that's to play it against other people. If you play against the CPU and never lose a match, even on Double Master, you won't see the old stages except against Motaro and Shao Kahn and that's because those are character specific stages. If you lose once before you reach say, the first E, then the Subway will be the second endurance stage, and that starts the MK3 stages. The line up is the same, everytime, the Lost stage is always first, and no matter what you do, uppercuts through ceilings or not, the MK3 stages will come about at the same interval, the 10th battle in the line up. Even if you uppercut through the Soul Chamber, you will not go into a loop of stages like in MK3 because the stage layout system isn't the same. In MK3 the first stage you play on is random, then the line up is a definitive order, but if you uppercut through the Soul Chamber, the next stage is the Balcony, and it automatically thinks it's gone through all the stages and then starts again at the Bridge, in the line up, the Soul Chamber is after the Bridge. In UMK3, instead of playing on the Bridge, the order continues as if you didn't uppercut through. UMK3's line up is rigidly fixed.
