have u noticed the change with the ninjas. (storyline not looks)
from when u 1st played each male ninja did u expect any of the stuff that happened happen.
Scorpion-Elder Gods champion (though it says he is neutral in mkd)
Sub-Zero-Discovers freezing skills/armour. Becomes grand master of lin kuei 2. beats 3 cybernetic ninjas.
Ermac-becomes good. able to defeat sonya, jax, johnny, kitana, kung lao (now evil) at once.
Original Sub-Zero-he's back with a believable storyline
Reptile-new boss
Noob Saibot-turns out to be sub-zero. Trys to rule netherrealm. becomes sub-boss with smoke
Smoke-becomes a robot. becomes sub-boss with noob
unlucky rain

me 2. hes not the best though. found a 3-d pic of him which looks cool. its a reverse of noob in mkD i think. dont know how to get it to you but it was on mortalkombataustralia.com

Well, it would be unfair that he would be the only ninja without a new storyline ...
I think they could make him cool for the next game. I'd like to see more of this powers.

doubt he'll return tho. people complain bout too many ninjas and his lightnin move has already been incorporated into nightwolf special moves.
youll only see him in another trilogy or konquest or sumat where all characters return

People where complaining about ninja's but still Ermac came back in MK:D so I think it's possible that Rain returns in the next MK.

when you think about it, the "ultimate battle" is no longer liu kang vs. shao kahn and has now become the ninjas fighting.
by mkd, quan chi had taken earthrealm and then died. earthrealm warriors are dead and onaga has earthrealm. though hes not interested in just ruling earthrealm, he wants reality as it is.
so=shujinko vs. onaga
=champ vs. boss
=SCORPION VS. REPTILE
i might not be making any sense what so ever but basically the earthrealm and outworld warriors are nothing without the ninjas now.
scorp=champ reptile=boss noob/sub-zero 5/smoke=subboss ermac=saviour of earth heroes. its just rain and subbie6 that dont influence the realms as much

Rain was my least fav ninja...and now you guys are making me feel sad that he didn't make it in Deception...poor Rain. I still think they should of kept the original smoke...the cyber smoke looked great in Deception, but the other costume looked crappy. I also think it was great to see Noob's clan. It also freaked me out when they said he was the original sub-zero. What else, Cyrax is Scorpion in the future going back in the past to kill sub-zero.
