if rayden and onaga can ressurect (ryden=cage)
(onaga=cage again, sonya etc.)
why don't they ressurect everyone? eg great kung lao

Raiden cannot resurrect. He was reborn by some weird force of nature (from what I hear). And Onaga's spirit was roaming and he inhabited Reptile's body so he did not fully "resurrect" into his own body. He was acting through the body of another. In this case, it is reptile.

im not talking about onaga entering reptile, i mean when he ressurected cage,sonya,kung lao,jax and kitana for evil. he set them on ermac who beat them all at once.
it also says in mkt-mk4 dat cage pleaded for raiden to give him his body back which he did.
rayden could ressurect every shaolin monk or sumat when onaga ressurects his army during battles. then it really will be an eternal battle until onaga or rayden die.

onagas heart can ressurect but what about rayden ressurecting johnny? is it too much effort to do over and over or was it allowed by the elder gods because of kahn cheating?
oh yeh. kahn revived kano before dying so whats up?

it says in mkt and not mk2 that cage died and could not help and asked rayden to give him his body back.
and in mk4 it says that cage pleaded rayden and rayden accepted

hhow else do you think he came back???
he was in mkt to complete the characters and so they came up with a storyline to bring him back.
maybe it can be further explained by saying that when rayden gives up immortality (in order to compete in mk3), he can give another person a body or something

I thought Johnny Cage came back because of all the havik between worlds, Cage couldn't make it to the heavens and went back to his body and became alive again.

I'm not 100% sure if this is correct or not but I heard that by the time Deadly Alliance came out that Vogel changed the storyline of Cage dying so much didn't really happen and was nothing more then bad writing in his latest movie. Here's the quote.
As the original story goes, Cage died prior to MKT at the hands of Motaro's
forces. Due to a loophole from Earthrealm and Outworld merging, Cage's soul was returned to his body. He helped stop Shao Kahn and then died again as things went back to normal. Then in MKG, Raiden agreed to bring him back to life to combat Shinnok. All of this has been retconned by John Vogel for MK:DA. Instead, all of that junk about him dying is just "bad writing" that came from his movies. So yeah, Johnny never died. At least, not until meeting Shang and Quan.
