What was the reason for Jade having a darker skin color in MK2 if she is Edenian like Kitana and Sindel? Was it to make Jade seem more different?

I think it's like that for two reasons, I don't know which is right but either: A)They wanted to make the game more diverse or B)When they used the pallet swap for Jade her skin color changed as well. I have the same question for Ermac, in UMK3 for the Arcade he had darker skin, but in future games he had the same tone as everone else.

Well, only reason I could think of is to make them more diverse in appearance from their counterparts.

Jade isn't Indian.
Ermac looks different for player 2 so the two players don't get confused when playing.

Anyway, how do you know that Indian was the look that MK team went for when creating Jade?

I was gently warming this thread rather than flaming it, so now I'll flame it. This thread is dumb and that's it.
On a side note, look at Jade in MKD and tell me she's not supposed to look like a Hindu Goddess.
