I don't want to vote because I don't like doing these sort of things to often, but I will add this:
Worst return: Liu Kang (i.e.--he gets his neck snapped and soul stolen in the opening cinematic.)

Best new look was a hard toss up between Scorpion and Rayden for me. Best Boss was a hard one between Shang Tsung and Shao Kahn. I picked Tsung b/c he's back on top again while Kahn recooperates.
