Has anyone else noticed how similatr MK the movie is to Enter the Dragon here are some similatites
Liu Kang-Bruce Lee
Jonny Cage-John Saxon
Goro-Bolo
cage beats Goro-saxon beats Bolo
they take a ship to the island in both films
Kang after Shang-Lee after tournament master
Add more if you think of any.

MK is a great movie.

Well you are kinda right, the MK team based "Mortal Kombat 1" off ETD, the whole "tournament" idea that is. Liu Kang is based off Bruce Lee, Johnny Cage is based off Van Damne, Raiden is based off the "lightning god" from "Showdown In Little Tokeyo". Most of the idea from the original game come from someware, and the MK team built on those idea's to incorporate them into the best game ever - Mortal Kombat.

The game based on that movie? That explain the same things. Let's see what can we find out to the ninjas and the Kano-Sonya story.

Not everything came from the ETD movie, the idea's came from several sources. I can Tell you that Ed Boon's sister is named Sonya, and his Other sister is called Tanya

The only thing Kano is based on is his eye based on Terminator and Sonya is based on Cyntia Rothrock!

Johnny Cage is based on the character of Van Damme in Bloodsport....but Cage is way cooler than Van Damme....although Bloodsport is a classic action movie..

all the cyber ninjkas models were based after The Predator movie, right down to the way they look to the self destruct fatality, but thats were it ends
