In mortal kombat 2 when i get to kitana she is the hardest character out of anybody....including kintaro and shao kahn...i beat the game a ton of times i was just wondering has any of you had trouble with her.....uppercuts dont do nuthin to her!!!! I hate her  !

She is hard to beat because she just never stops throwing you!!Same with Jade and Mileena in MK2.

All every character does is throw you after the first three or four people you fight. Hell sometimes they can throw you when you're right in the middle of a sweep. Never duck in front of them, either.

In my opinion Kitana isn´t so hard. I hated her fans, when i was a child, because i wasn´t able to come closer to her. I think that the hardest characters to beat in MK2 are Kung Lao and Scorpion.

The hardest part in MK2 was Kitana's fans, and Scorp's spear. I ALWAYS fought atleast one of them at the top of the tower and they were cheap as hell. It wasn't until i perfected my Sub-Zero combo's. Slide tackle, freeze, jump punch, close sweep, uppercut, freeze sweep, uppercut. Never got touched eversince. Well, cept against kintaro, I just swept and punched the hell out of him.

The ones I have trouble with if they're at the top are Mileena, Baraka and Liu Kang, they're all 3 cheap fighters...On occasion, Kitana and Johnny Cage are too

How do u thromw in the first place? Is it forward+low kick? I could never do it?

Kitana is the one that's always hard, I always need to use at least one extra credit to get past her. If she comes to close, walk backwards and do a roundhouse on her. That works sometimes if the timing is right. Beter then getting thrown. There are different strategies against her, it depends on your character. Just practice. I beat the game on very hard, you just have to practice.

It's not even that she's difficult to beat in a good way, like when you fight Shao Khan when it's an actual challenge. She's just cheap and retarded, I find it best to use Baraka and to insult her throughout the whole match, just calling her a whore and things like that the more abuse the better, even if you lose you feel better about it.
