[color=green]Is it just me or did the N64 version of Mortal Kombat Trilogy get shafted compared to the PSX and Saturn versions. I remember when I was in eighth grade and I wanted to play MK Trilogy so bad because I had never played it before. I had and still do have a N64. I discovered via the World Wide Web that MKT on Playstation and Sega Saturn had the classic forms of Raiden, Kano, Jax & Kung Lao. What a suprised I got when I found out that the N64 version didn't. How many of you who had Trilogy on N64 were just livid at that fact. I know I was. There are also small details that are missing from the N64 version that just irritate me, such as the fact that there are more arenas on Playstation and Saturn such as the arena where you fight Shao Kahn on MK 2 or the Bank from MK 3, or when Brutalities are performed, it doesn't get dark and the bones disintegrate when they hit the ground. Why!!! It sure doesn't happen on the other 2 versions. And last, but not least, and this may be for all three consoles, but you can't even perform a stage fatality on the Pit 2, which I just don't understand for the life of me. The N64 version does have everything else that others have and it even has FATALITIES for Shao Kahn & Motoro which are a plus as well as an EXTRA Fatality for Scorpion not found on the other 2 versions, but that's about it. The folks at Midway could have put in a little more effort into this in my opinion.Sad

The Pit 2 fatality was omitted from all version since they didn't want to refilm everyone falling down the pit.

All the versions of Trilogy are the same, except the N64 had fatalities for Motaro and Shao Kahn. To Get the Klassic characters, you press start or select on the Raiden,Kano,Kung Lao and Jax pics.

Regards,

Regards,

The hidden classic characters were not in MKT for N64. Also, unmasked sub zero was missing from MKT for N64.

Also, the gameplay was very different in MKT for N64 compared to MKT for PSX or PC.

There is not a single port or build of a port of MKT on any system, that is identical to another, on any system, of any port, of any build. In some way, no matter how major or minor, every single version ofMKT ever pressed off a CD line has been different.

Could you maybe put up some match vids of N64 MKT with MK2 Jax and MK2 Kung Lao Vs MK1 Kano and MK1 Raiden? I want to see how they did with them, maybe those characters follow the rules of UMK3 like MKT on PSX does?

Matt
