Shujinko isn't the worst character around. His combos and special attacks are NICE. He is also kind of funny when he says "GET OVER HERE"  . He is also kind of dumb because he believes what he is told. They even made a joke about it on The Kombat Pavillion.

Nice Jinko combination; Spear, grab, flip kick, and try to get him with flying jinko before he hits the ground.

I think Shujinko is bloody awesome, when I fighted Onaga with him, I got a flawless victory and when fighting Shujinko, he is hard to beat sometimes.

Shujinko is the kind of character beginers SHOULD use. Well, when u have all his moves unlocked.He has a good mix of moves, combos, and styles. He is the best character to get sucky players a good training.

Well from my point of veiw if shujinko came ta life i simply knock his lights out for being a bad character.I just can't seem ta be very good with them. My brother is like a master at mortal kombat games around my town and when I fight with scorpion or Baraka my brother simply says you could've killed me that mactgh if i was playing.Its a whole diffenert thing with Shujinko.I have had the game beat a little over a year now and well i just can't have Shujinko be good fer once.
So this is my good bye ta Shujinko

Shujinko is a strongcharacter - but as everyone has pointed out it take s a good deal of practise to master his combos. He CAN become highly irritating on-line, as players tend to abuse certain combos with him. I do like his versatility, but hasnt anybody thought that a character could have TOO many specials? Remember how hard it was to play as Shang Tsung way back in mortal kombat 2? This can make it rather tedious to play as Shujinko. Dont get me started on his cardboard cut out personality - it was soooooooo obvious Damashi was a fraud right from the start - (and no i didnt watch the intro so i managed to work it out for myself). As far as him replacing Liu Kang goes, i was more distraught at the fact that they removed Kung Lao from the equation..... - so in general, i reckon that Shujinko could have been a NEW character - not THE NEW character - anyone agree?
