is it me or do some alternate costumes look like they were designed by a monkey riding a unicycle blindfolded?

I don΄t think. Many alternative costumes looks better than the original ones. For example: Jade, Hotaru, Ermac...

Allot of the alternate costumes are cool, and some are dumb yes. But for me 88% of the alternate costumes are cool.

Well, I think they are cool, with the exception of Darrius (which totally sucks).

Some of the alternate costumes were cool like Mileena, Noob-Saibot (excluding Smokes), Scorpion, Jade's costume was okay but I prefer her primary one.
And as the for the ones that I hate is shujinko, dairou, darrius (man he sucks at his attire!), Kobra (I hate him in his primary and alternate, in other words I hate him!), Hotaru as well
