Rain has to be one of the coolest mk characters out there... thunder..ninjas... what could be cooler? I mean seriously you can't have mortal kombat without rain!

Yea i have to agree even though Scorion is my favorite mk charater...they should've never put Rain away!

In my opinion the best time to return Rain was now in Deception, because there are many other Edenians. They could return him in the GC version with Shao Kahn and Rain could revenge his father. He would be better character than anybody of the newcomers:-(

They should return Rain in MK7, he was a cool charakter and his moves were also, but his story was worthless...

Yeah, give him a better storyline. I always liked Raiden and Scorpion. Mix them together and you have Rain.

RAIN RULES! I think Midway should hang their heads in shame! any ninjas that dont have the popularity of Scorpion and Sub-Zero are instantly slated and thats not fair! Look at Rain for example! He's a brilliant ninja, who could have been in either Deadly Alliance or Deception but they left him out of both (as they did with another great ninja...Sektor! they dumped him into Tournament Edition and didnt even bother changing his appearance from Cyrax's!) which is unfair! Really useless fighters like Bo Rai Cho and Li Mei for some reason managed to fit into the latest games and their unpopular! So why cant Rain be in anymore games! Bring Rain Back! Bring Rain Back! Bring Rain Back! Die Li Mei!

Die Li Mei! Die Li Mei! I got all happy and excited when the deadly alliance killed her then they stupidly revived her! I'd bet Rain would kick her around! all he'd have to do was use his water control shot and raise her up onto a meathook in the Deadpool. While she'd be in severe pain, our purple samurai could blast lightning on the hook, electrifying her, before it breaks and she falls into the acid! (Mwahahahahaha!) Rain kicks ass! I'd prefer him more than Reptile if he killed Li Mei and Reptile's my favourite!

Rain and Li Mei:
I like Li Mei- the only problem with her and Rain is that there are many purple characters (Mileena-MK2 -> Sindel/MK3 -> Rain MKT -> Li Mei-MK:DA...). And in MK:DA she was only a clone of Mileena (purple girl with sai)... But now she became evil and this is the way i like. Maybe she will be very important in the next MK.
So if Rain would return in the future, he would not be too purple.
