Kintaro is a Shokan warrior who fought with Shao Kahn. After Kintaro failed to aid Shao Kahn against the Earthrealm warriors, he was banished to the Netherrealm until Shao Kahn's Rule ended. When Shao Kahn was defeated by the Earthrealm warriors, Kintaro was freed. When released, Kintaro traveled to Outworld. There, he saw the sorcerer Quan Chi, who had convinced him that Goro had ordered his banishment. Kintaro fought Goro, but lost. Shinnok, now knowing that Kintaro wasn't strong enough to defeat Goro, banished him to the Netherrealm again. When Shinnok's rule had ended, Kintaro went to the Chaosrealm and was driven insane. With this fury, he traveled to the Orderrealm and raised chaos upon the Orderrealm gaurds. But he was killed, once and for all, by the leader of the guard, Hotaru.
