There are moments in MK II where you see the CPU do strange things. (I'm talking about the SNES version here) For example: yesterday I was playing against the CPU, against Johny Cage, and when he did his super kick, instead of a green stream, there was a red stream behind him, and it made a special sound (like Raidens lightning when he does his victory pose). Also sometimes when you play against Kitana, the CPU throws two fans in a row, or somethimes she throws one just above your head and then you paralize for a moment. What's up with these things? Is there any way to pull that of yourself or is it just the CPU doing strange things? Thank you for your answers,

I believe you can do the red shadow kick or red shadow punch, if you try to make it very fast... same thing applies to Nightwolf's arrow and axe in MK3.

It could be a glitch in the system no game is with out a glitch. The other day I was play GTA San Andreas and my go-cart fell into the sidewalk and I could not pull out!

Not a glitch, real moves. Johny has the Red shadow ball/kick, just like Lui Kang has the red bycilce kick.

I've never seen a red bycicle kick. Does anyone know how to do the red moves with Johny Cage?

man, i had totally forgotten about that. i remember you could do Cage's shadowkick, and it would be red stream instead of greeen. i dont know how you did it though. or it could also just be a small glitch, both cage's shadowkick and kitana's fans...
what do you guys reckon? maybe TMK himself knows the answer to this?

The red Shadow Kick happened occasionaly. I don΄t think it is any hidden glitch about that.

I forget MK2. Were these anything like Nightwolf's fast arrow in MK3 (he didn't turn red in it, they didn't add that until MKT). Nightwolf's fast arrow came out any time you went to fire the arrow and your opponent was in a state where he could not move around.

hmm...you guys are confused here, let me straten things out.
1. Johnny Cage can do a Red shadow kick / uppercut, It's random...you can't make ity do it whenever you want, It's not only SNES it's arcade.
2. Liu Kang does NOT have any shaddow attacks.
3. Nightwolf in MK3 does have the red agian at random like JC.
4. Yes, Kitana will throw multiple fans on the SNES version of MK2.
5. You want strange...get this: Use a character like Reptile thats easy to keep repeating the projectile move... keep doing the acid spit a full screen away and watch what the computer does...they duck for ages then eventualy they stay in the ducked position and slide accross the screen right up to you and throw you....now thats fucked up, It's a SNES only glitch.

But I always spit acid as Reptile on the SNES and nothing happens. Its the onyl way I kill Shang Tsung (damn him and his throws!) does it happen in a certain arena?

ive seen kitana with the two fans and johnnys red shaddow kick a couple times. And yes, i have seen liu kangs red bicycle kick, i dont know how to do it but i have seen a Cpu use it only once.
And yes, he killed me
