Post subject: Epic Battles - Choose Your Destiny |

Do any of you know about Epic Battles? It's a new Video Game Fighting TCG, where you get to play Street Fighter characters against Mortal Kombat characters in a fight to the finish! Fight Ryu vs Sub Zero! Have Jade take on Elena! The creators of the game are fighting fans as well, so the game plays great and close to the original video games. The first set is out at Blockbuster in September with new expansions and games to be added on in the future.
If you want more information, you can check out epicbattlestcg.com. Right now there's just a splash page, but soon a full running website will be up, with message boards and images of the cards and everything!
What do you guys want to see in the TCG?

If that game is real then i hope the mortal komba tguys can do fatalitys on the street fighter people.

Of COURSE the MK guys get to do Fatalities, all depicted in their full, bloody gorey... I mean glory. I mean, seeing a guy ripped in half with his blood and guts trailing out like a cracked egg by Goro's bare hands by the amazing artists at UDON studios just gives you that funny, tingly feeling inside, no? =P

TCG is Trading Card Game isn't it? So if I am wrong sorry.... but if it is a card game you get to see nothing but stats and stuff what is so cool about that?

A TCG is a trading card game, but not in the lines of what you are thinking. The character cards aren't filled with stats and stuff, like a character bio. The game is based on you choosing your favorite fighter and then beating the living crap out of whoever challenges you in a 1 on 1 fight to the death.
Mortal Kombat characters get all sorts of cool stuff. Want to play Sub Zero so you can Freeze your rival, rip his head off, and throw it at him shattering his body? YOU GET TO DO IT! Want to take Baraka's blades and dice your rivals into iddy bitty pieces because of your "Insanity"? YOU GET TO DO IT!
Furthermore, the card images are done by UDON studios, an amazing group of artists. I don't think anyone else could have captured the blood, guts, and gore of Mortal Kombat like they have. If you don't hurl yourself when you see Bo Rai Cho's Puke, then you are already a twisted fellow.
