I got the MK: Deception combo pack with the original MK, and there are two problems. One being that the fatalities are hard to figure out, and two, during game play, it seems that the game its self know exactly what your gonna do when you pull of your attack. for instance; I was going up against Kano, and every time I would try to leg sweep him, he would do his roll attack on me. ( trust me, it gets rather irretating after the 5th time he does it.) after he does his roller on me a good 5 or 6 times he would top things of with a fatality. Is it me, or is does the game know exactly what your gonna do, and then counter it?

Go here to see how to do fatalities. On the other hand, with the enemies knowing what you're going to do, that's just the AI. Try to mix things up a bit and use your moves on them.

Does anyone know if you can still unlock Reptile in the combo pack version of MK1?

I have the premium pak of MK deception w/ MK 1 with it, and reptile is nowhere in sight

You cannot unlock Reptile in that game. That is the original game. To unlock Reptile, you must play the TV Games version of MK.
But, if you meant unlock as in "see" Reptile, a shadow must pass the moon in the Pit stage, and then you must get a flawless victory twice while doing your fatality. (NOT the Pit fatality.) Then Reptile will come out and you get to fight him.

Well i own every mk and the original yea u could but 100% guranteed u cannot get him with the combo pack.If ne 1 here still owns Dreamcast plz pick up Mortal Kombat Gold

I never liked the first Mortal Kombat. It was too hard to play. But it could be because i was five when i first played it.

i nevered played mk1 but i know you can fight reptile in the pit level when something passes over the moon

Reptile can't be found in MK1. It's impossible! Or is it? I highly doubt that Reptile can be unlocked.
