I found Baraka best for beating Onaga - just using the Blade Chop again and again, Onaga kept walkign into it. Nothing as hard as MK2 or MK3 Shao Kahn.

ONAGA RULES!!!
But really,i've beat him with Scorpion on the first go,he was awsome.Then Baraka with his chop chop blades.Mileena with her"Kick from above".Somehow i beat him with Night wolf,and i was very close to beating him with that oaf Bo rai Cho.
I have a Question;guys,help me out:-
I m stuck on practice with sub zero.It is the second combo of his weapon The Kori Blade.My cousins tried but to no avail.Please help me out guys.

I found him a little difficult to beat the first time, but I still beat him. Then again, I was on the easiest difficulty level, but still.  You have to be cheap against him unless you know about the kamidogus and break them, then beat him up.
As a boss he's pretty hard to beat. But when you compare him to Shao Kahn in MK3/UMK3/MKT on harder difficulty levels, he's a walk in the park.

every character has a certain combo and move that makes onaga easy you just have to find the combo and move.

...except for Sindel...she's the only ONLY character where I had to reduce the difficulty to very easy to get her...everyone else was on normal without a problem...

But in return she was the only character whose ending contained 3 pictures instead of regular 2 pictures

...actually I played arcade mode after I got every character and first tried it with Liu Kang on normal...no lost lives...beat Onaga with nearly full health...thank you bicycle kick of ass-kicky-ness...

Well, the first time was a pain beating him, but the second and the three time, it became a piece of cake beating him. I beated him with all the characters.
