Kitana and Mileena have a lot in common just like Sub and Scorpion. I wish Kitana was in Deception so they can do battle once more.

Yeah, unfortunately she wasnt as the intro says that she was killed by the deadly alliance, and then onaga came in got QUan Chi's medallion thingy and ressurected Kitana and Company. Fortunately for me Jade is there! which makes me happy

Well technically, The MKDA fighter's souls were trapped somewhere and thier bodies were used as Onaga's weapons.

Glad someone noticed....*looks at ending*....it's not true, not gonna happen....goddamnit! Good thing your gf's in there (yes, I'm trying to date...er...revive her, explains why I haven't posted for a long time).
Anyway, I believe in the 1st theory. First time I saw it, I went "WTF is she wearing?"

I think Midway was just being lazy they didnt even sort out the endings to make them easier to understand! In goro's ending, Kitana dies. In Sindel's, she is released from Onaga's control, as in Ermac's. If Kitana is alive, they shouldnt be confusing us like this, after alll, Kitana fans have a right to know if she's alive. As for her costume, I think Midway was just being lazy and they didnt bother changing her appearance from Mileena's just to save time. But, maybe their costumes were given by Onaga. After all, both of them serve him now

Wow! another great explanation. That sounds good. Onaga could have given them the outfit. Becasue if you notice, Kitana is wearing Mileena's blue outfit. In Goro's ending she dies in her MKDA outfit! Onaga could have provided the costumes!

But if Onaga would give Kitana her costume, why didn´t the others (Sonya, Jax, Kung Lao, Cage) become new costumes too? I think that the only reason is that Kitana and Mileena should look identical (and MK:DA Kitana simply doesn´t look like MK:D Mileena), so if only Mileena is in the game, they remade Kitana. And Kitana´s costume in Goro´s ending? I think they only forgot that they changed her costume

It makes PERFECT sense now! Onaga suplied the costumes to Kitana and Mileena only because Mileena was to mimic Kitana and use her armies to distract the heroes from Onaga! It explains why the two of them look the same and it covers where they got the uniforms!

? If the costume change would be only because Onaga wanted to use Kitana´s army, wouldn´t it be easier to give Mileena Kitana´s MK:DA costume? ? And Mileena doesn´t need to have the same costume as Kitana, because Kitana is hidden in Onaga´s fortress as his personal asassin
The costume changes means nothing for the story, because just imagine:
If you would be Mileena in real world/outworld and you would want to use Kitana´s army, you would wear Kitana´s MK:DA blue costume. The only reason why Mileena wears new costume and it´s purple/pink is because it´s game! (fans don´t old costumes and know Mileena as purple girl:-). But in real world she would wear Kitana´s blue costume from MK:DA

well, like I said before, Kitana's blue-mileena outfit could be Kitana's royal clothes that is worn in front of Edenians, so......Onaga could have provided Mileena an outfit alike to Kitana's to pose as her. Also, before being captured and killed, Kitana could have changed clothes....idk, just speculating. Also, the reason for Mileena not dressing in blue can be either (or most) of the following reasons:
1) Mileena hates blue too much as it reminds her of Kitana.
2) Mileena isn't recognizeable from not wearing blue because she originally wore purple which explains the color change to pink.
3) Mileena is thought to be dead by everyone so she (as Kitana) can do whatever she wants and not be suspected.
4) Mileena thinks that blue makes her butt look big....
and I agree: for being clones, Kitana and Mileena look nothing alike. Their skin colors are completly different and thier faces don't look similar at all.
