From what Ive read that when there was problem in Sektor, maybe a bug or glitch or something, he killed the grandmaster. And I think thats were Sub-Zero comes in as he battles against Sektor, but Subby wins the battle as he gets the title of lin kuei grandmaster, while Sektor goes to Japan and plans on making an army of cyborgs. In MKDA he had short crucut hair. Now in this game when he has his mask off he's got a ponytail.
