I better re-read it. The shadow priests have been around under out noses the whole time. Are there any in Deception?

the courtyard level. And you mean to tell me that in MK2 you didnt notice the Shadow Preist adn Blaze duking it out?

Yea he was. In the Pit2 level if you look in the backround you see Blaze fighting a SHadow Preist. that backround was the whole insperation FOR Blaze.

It wasn't a shadow priest, but a small version of Liu Kang

Mortal Kombat II: Yes, Blaze was in fact here. Remember the Pit 2 where
the background shows a Liu Kang look-alike against a Liu Kang look-alike
on fire? Well, that latter guy is supposed to be Blaze. It was on that
bridge when he was randomly attacked by holy men serving the long dead
Dragon King. They enslaved him through magic and forced him to protect the
last known Great Dragon Egg.

Wait wait wait....are you saying that you can literrally see Blaze fight a priest in the background during gameplay, or are you saying that it was on that bridge where Blaze was enslaved by the priests, storyline-wise?

He was actualy fighting the preist in the backround.
