VainZiler that is Blaze as you say as I use the same source fro MK though on a seperate site so I don't need to go through MK5.org
the other person looks like either Liu Kang or a Shadow Priest without his robe (which would be more practical in a fight with someone on fire) then again it could just be an unknown holy man as it doesn't actually say if they're Shadow Priests or a group affiliated with them.

VainZiler: Ok i get what you mean, but i thinks it's all speculation. It hasn't been confirmed to be a dis-robed priest - not that I know of anyway.

Anyway, did the Mk team ever confirm that it was a shadow Priest?

i don't think they had confirmed that the green liu kang aka hornbuckle is a shadow priest

Blaze was called "Torch" by the fans.

Time to clear things up...
(1) Ermac's name originates from a hyper-rare glitch in MK1 when you are about to fight Reptile. Sometimes the colouring would go red-orange and the life bar would read ERMAC (which is really ERror MACro).
(2)There's no such thing as Hornbuckle. I think Jade or Smoke pops up and says "Hornbuckle Who?" in MK2 but I'd say that was just to confuse the fans. As you all know, palette swaps were used to make many fighters in that game. they probably just pallet swapped Liu Kang and added him into the background so it looked like the fighters were in a real tournament. If there was such thing as Hornbuckle it would have been colaborated on in other MKs and Boon would have said he was real
(3) Torch was the name given by fans. The fiery person now known as Blaze was named by MK for Deadly Alliance and he was only added in as an Easter Egg, probably just to reward the fans still hooked on MK2
